Pouring down for two nights.

Post by Dlowry on Tue Sep 21, 2010 3:49 am

Two nights of the lake fishing slow, turned up to find the fish topping really close in front of empty peg, quickly got rods out few hours later, they buggered off. Saw nothing else in my swim for the next two days and din't manage anything, while Dad managed a 19lb leather (it looked no where near that weight had a shock when we weighed it.)

Bantons. I got my bivvy back from repair, the zip that attaches the front of the bivvy broke, they repaired it, but messed it up making the zip too sort and had to be sent back again, finally got it back last week.Dad just bought a Mk2. I like the straps on the front of the bivvy for the rods, shame they didn't put it on the AS.

Whats with the layout doing dodgy stuff all the time :/ I doubt we will be returning to cockerham this year or next well maybe in winter for a run or two. Spending plently of time on bantons next year, already hoping full a full week session in april.
